Floravore is a hypothetical seed packet company which features the Scarlet Bush plant. I was initially inspired by risograph prints and wanted to create a layering effect, shown by the slight transparency of the plant name on the cover. The backside also replicates this with the plant ink drawings.
I also created simple vector icons for the back that sum up the care instructions. The sticker ties in the branding of the company and adds that special touch.
The sketches below show my idea of making the watercolor illustration a close-up that would cover most of the space. The back side has a column organization with vector icons.
